Where did I come from?  What a lingering quest!  My Mother had a burning desire to 
know about her ROOTS.  She began this quest in the late 1970's and continued to trace 
our family until the time of her death.  I have boxes of her research stored and 
began to sort through these papers a year ago.  I am continually adding her 
discoveries daily.  There have been many surprises along the way. I just hope that 
her notes and contacts are beneficial to those of you who are involved in the 
quest for your roots.

I have discovered in her notes such relatives as Daniel Boone, John Proctor (Salem 
Witch Trials), Elisha Walling--Longhunter, and notes linking our family to English 
and Scotish, French, Spanish, German Royality, as well as constables, selectman, 
Ministers, first settlers of New England towns, first settler of Indianapolis, IN 
funeral directors, farmers, printers, candymakers, and the list goes on.   

I strive for accuracy, but I cannot guarantee this information is correct or 
complete. Verifying genealogy information is a tedious task, I have attempted to 
verify as accurately as I can.
